Introduction
What is Singing Ring?
Singing RingⓇ is an instrument that is individually hand-made by Japanese craftsmen. It is a work of art made using traditional Japanese techniques, and made from an alloy of mainly copper and crystal (silicon).
The highly pure and extremely thin layer of lacquer protects it from oxidation and rusting for long periods of time.
Singing Ring is the world's only instrument that can play countless harmonic overtones (*) with a single stroke.
*Harmonic overtones are naturally occurring sounds whose fundamental frequency is an integer multiple.
In recent years, research by many scientists has proven that it has a healing effect on the mind and body.
Sound
Singing RingⓇ has harmonic overtones beyond the audible range. This was shown by various experiments conducted by the research groups.
These overtones continue to resonate for a long time. It is a soothing sound that is tuned into just intonation and includes fluctuations of 1/f.*

* 1/f noise, 1/f noise, also known as pink noise, is a type of noise that has a unique frequency spectrum inversely proportional to frequency. It has been know that the fluctuation of 1/f is good for relaxation, calming effect on our mind and body.

What is difference from other insrtuments?

We receive lots of questions how the bowl instruments are different.
To put it simply, Singing Ring was created as a new dimensional healing instrument which has the benefits of the crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls and Japanese Orin (Buddhist alter article and used for for cleansing or meditation).

As tibetan bowls are recently often called as singing bowl, when we introduce Singing RingⓇ it is mixed up with them but there are some differences.

Hexagonal Star
When you fill the Uchu with water and play in a circular motion with the small stick, a hexagonal star will appear on the surface of the water. The hexagonal star is a symbol of relative energy. It is a geometric figure that clearly represents the harmony of the two opposing equilateral triangles. Because Singing Ring®ï¸Ž is perfectly tuned around the entire instrument, you can play this harmonious sound from any position on the instrument.

Singing Ring is currently gathering attention from the specialists who are being active at the forefront.
Recently, by scientific research, it has been getting clearer how the Singing Ring is benefiting the human body and the environment around us. Knowing the research result which may hold the secrets of the universe and nature will lead you to further comfort and relaxation!
The following is one of the various scientific research.

This research was lead by Keio University Associate Professor Mitsukura who developed “Kansei Analyzer,” the world’s first device which enabled to measure the person’s emotion real time.
​
This research was held in 2017 and examinees are 110 people (aged group from 20s to 60s). The purpose of this research was to compare the examinees' brainwave before the session with ones after the session.
In the research, they listened to sound of Singing Rings which were place around their head, foot and beside their bodies and their brainwaves were measured for 60 seconds and compared the brainwaves before and after the session.

The research result shows that the following.

Out of 110 people,

89 people's calmness value increased (81%)

87 people's stress value decreased (79%)

Calmness (average of the whole group) increased by 13.7 points (before: 28.4%, after 42.1%) ^
^ this is very high compared to some data in which people who have been practicing a meditation for a month could achieve
a calmness increase by 5~8%.

For the 89 people whose calmness value increased, an average increase was 72.3%

For the 87 people whose stress value decreased, an average decrease was 24.1%
